Collingwood Magpies Netball have secured a three-year partnership with the Tasmanian Government, which will support and develop a wide range of netball programs and events in the state.

Working closely with Netball Tasmania, the Magpies are committed to supporting grassroots netball and developing elite pathways for talented junior Tasmanian netballers.

Following on from their inaugural season in the Suncorp Super Netball (SSN) league, the Magpies will continue to have a strong presence in Tasmania in 2018.

After a successful SSN game in Launceston last year, the Magpies are set to return to The Silverdome in round six to face the Queensland Firebirds on Sunday June 3.

Tickets to this game can be purchased here. You can also purchase a Magpies Netball Tasmanian membership here.

The Magpies will further represent the state of Tasmania in the Australian Netball League (ANL).

The Tasmanian Magpies, which combines Tasmania’s elite netballing talent with Collingwood’s six Victorian training partners, will be looking to better its sixth-place finish in 2017 when they take to the court this year.
